Job description

Summary: This individual will be responsible for responding to Accounts Payable (A/P) needs and requests throughout our organization, including:

1. Entering invoices and credit memos into the accounting system.
2. Uploading invoices into the invoice approval system.
3. Printing checks and making electronic payments.
4. Checking vendor statements against our vendor ledger to ensure all invoices are entered correctly.
5. Contacting vendors to retrieve missing items and reconciling differences.
6. Responding to vendor inquiries.
7. Reconciling bank statements with our check register.
8. Performing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2+ years of accounting experience preferred.
• Experience in the Long Term Care industry preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.

Physical Demands: Must be able to move intermittently throughout the workday. May be necessary to assist in the evacuation of residents during emergency situations.
