NewMarket Corporation, headquartered in Richmond, VA, seeks an Accounts Payable professional to handle daily payables for raw materials, PO invoices, and related tasks in SAP. You will review invoices, assist with vendor creation, and code invoices using OCR and automation tools.

Role includes vendor master maintenance, audit-ready reporting, and supporting monthly reconciliations. temp-to-hire with potential full-time benefits after 3–6 months.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and accounting exposure.
• Prefer a college degree with accounting concentration.
• Experience with SAP and Microsoft Office is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process daily payables for raw materials and PO invoices.
• Review invoices via OCR; assist with vendor creation and coding.
• Collaborate on Test Net Invoices and rent payments in SAP.
• Maintain vendor master data and request W-9/W-8 banking info.
• Prepare daily batch reports and support audits.
• Handle mail sorting and monthly reconciliations as assigned.
• Respond to payment inquiries with professional service.
• Document daily procedures for accounts payable manual.
