Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years Accounts Payable or equivalent accounting experience.
• Microsoft Excel experience and proficiency.
• Ability to manage time and work effectively with high transactional volume.
• Accuracy and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, good listener, able to resolve customer/vendor issues.
• High level of integrity, energy and organization.
• Team player with a positive, "willing to do whatever it takes" attitude.

Responsibilities

• Process checks and electronic payments including printing checks and review for signatures.
• Verify checks through the bank system and stop payment as needed.
• Void and reissue checks; run Positive Pay reports daily.
• Review and process credit card transactions and electronic expense reports.
• Respond to internal and external customer questions; resolve vendor issues.
• Review and enter invoices with required approvals and PO match in JDE; run GAAP processes.
• Handle special projects such as reconciliations, research, and 1099 prep.

Job Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To

• Process checks and electronic payments
  • Print checks
  • Run back charge/return reports
  • Review checks
  • Sort for signatures and special handling requests
• Verifying checks through the bank system; stop payment
• Void and reissue checks
• Run Positive Pay reports and submit to the bank daily
• Review and process credit card transactions
• Review and process electronic expense reports
• Respond to internal and external customers questions
• Review and enter invoices
  • Check for required approvals
  • PO match in JDE
  • Miscellaneous general & administrative (GAAP)
  • Run SubPay and GAAP processes
• Other special projects (reconciliations, research, clean up, 1099 prep, tax clean up)
  

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years Accounts Payable or equivalent accounting experience
• Microsoft Excel experience and proficiency
• Ability to manage time and work effectively with high transactional volume
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Self-starter, adaptable, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, good listener, able to resolve customer/vendor issues
