David Weekley Homes is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Associate to join the Accounting team at our Houston office near 610 & Katy Freeway. You will process checks and electronic payments, verify invoices, and ensure proper approvals and PO matching in JDE.

Qualificações

• Minimum 5 years Accounts Payable or equivalent accounting experience.
• Microsoft Excel experience and proficiency.
• Ability to manage time and work effectively with high transactional volume.
• Accuracy and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, good listener, able to resolve customer/vendor issues.
• High level of integrity, energy and organization.
• Team player with a positive, "willing to do whatever it takes" attitude.

Responsabilidades

• Process checks and electronic payments including printing checks and review for signatures.
• Verify checks through the bank system and stop payment as needed.
• Void and reissue checks; run Positive Pay reports daily.
• Review and process credit card transactions and electronic expense reports.
• Respond to internal and external customer questions; resolve vendor issues.
• Review and enter invoices with required approvals and PO match in JDE; run GAAP processes.
• Handle special projects such as reconciliations, research, and 1099 prep.
