Job summary

Addison Group is seeking an Accounts Payable Associate in Minneapolis, MN to process high-volume invoices, review for accuracy, and ensure timely vendor payments in a fast-paced professional services environment.

You'll research discrepancies, perform reconciliations, support month-end close, and look for opportunities to improve AP processes while collaborating with internal teams. This onsite role offers solid benefits and opportunities to grow within a dynamic organization.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Accounts Payable experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working with accounting or ERP systems.
• Intermediate Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, PivotTables, or similar).
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to prioritize deadlines and thrive in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Process and review high-volume invoices for accuracy and compliance.
• Research and resolve invoice discrepancies, payment issues, and vendor inquiries.
• Perform account reconciliations and maintain vendor statements.
• Support payment processing, ACH, wire transfers, and check runs.
• Maintain vendor records and assist with new vendor setup.
• Partner with internal departments to ensure timely invoice approvals.
• Assist with month-end close and reporting.
• Identify opportunities to improve AP processes and efficiencies.
