Our client is an organization in the greater Minneapolis area looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist. The position requires 2+ years of AP experience and is onsite.

The Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

• Support the effective and efficient management of AP and reimbursement processing.
• Receive, review, verify and process vendor invoices.
• Match invoices with purchase orders and receiving documentation.
• Enter invoice and payment data into the accounting ERP system.
• Prepare and process payment runs.
• Reconcile vendor statements, resolve discrepancies with vendors promptly.
• Accurately maintain employee expense reports and corporate card activity.
• Support internal and external audits.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Possession of the following skills and qualifications:

Experience required

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business or a closely related field.
• 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
