Responsibilities

• Process high-volume vendor invoices in a PO environment.
• Perform 3-way matching of POs, receipts and invoices.

• Process payment requests and support weekly check runs.
• Reconcile vendor statements and respond to inquiries.
• Assist with month-end AP close activities.
• Collaborate with purchasing, receiving, and operations for invoice accuracy.

Location: Northfield, MN (100% onsite, only local candidates in Minnesota will be eligible for consideration)

Schedule: Part time - 2 days onsite per week (Approx 20 hours)

We're supporting the search for a Part-Time Accounts Payable Specialist with a growing manufacturing company located near Northfield, MN. This is a great opportunity for someone looking for a flexible schedule while staying hands-on in a fast-paced accounting environment.

Schedule

What You'll Be Doing

• Process high-volume vendor invoices in a purchase order environment
• Perform 3-way matching (POs, receipts, and invoices)
• Research and resolve invoice discrepancies
• Maintain vendor records and assist with new vendor setup
• Process payment requests and support weekly check runs
• Reconcile vendor statements and respond to vendor inquiries
• Assist with month-end AP close activities
• Partner with purchasing, receiving, and operations to ensure invoice accuracy

What We're Looking For

• 1-3 years of Accounts Payable experience
• Experience working in a purchase order/3-way match environment required
• Manufacturing, food manufacturing, distribution, or similar industry experience is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Comfortable working independently and managing priorities
• Proficiency in Excel and accounting/ERP systems
