Job summary

Equipment Assets, Inc. is seeking an Accounts Payable support specialist to own the routine AP workflow, process vendor invoices, PO matching, and maintain records within our established systems.

You’ll assist the Controller, Purchasing team, and COO, work with ERP/software, and contribute to a stable, growth‑oriented organization with four metro Detroit locations. The role emphasizes accuracy, discretion with confidential data, and independent ownership after initial ramp‑up, with bi‑weekly pay

Qualifications

• Experience in an administrative, finance support, AP, or purchasing role.
• Exceptional organization and attention to detail.
• Strong Microsoft Excel and Outlook skills.
• Professionalism and discretion with confidential information.
• Experience with accounting software, ERP systems, or Salesforce.
• A self‑starter who meets deadlines independently.

Responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices and match them to purchase orders.
• Maintain accurate accounts payable records.
• Follow up on missing invoices, documentation, and discrepancies.
• Assist with HR onboarding and manage employee documentation.
• Communicate professionally with vendors and internal teams.
• Manage electronic records and data entry.
• Support the COO with documents, reporting, and projects.
• Support general office operations.
