Job summary

Challenge Manufacturing, a leading Tier 1 automotive supplier and ESOP owner, is seeking an Accounts Payable professional to ensure accurate invoice processing and timely payments at its Walker, Michigan corporate office.

You will review invoices, perform 3-way PO matching, respond to vendor inquiries, assist month-end close, and support multiple-location AP processing with Excel and PLEX ERP. The role demands 2+ years AP experience and solid attention to detail.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and 2+ years AP experience.
• College courses in Accounting to support adherence to procedures.
• Experience with PLEX ERP and automotive industry AP processing.
• Ability to process AP for multiple locations.

Responsibilities

• Review invoices for documentation and approval prior to payment.
• Process 3-way PO matching invoices.
• Prioritize invoices based on cash discounts and terms.
• Respond to vendor inquiries and reconcile statements.
• Process vendor debits and assist in month-end closing.
• Maintain documentation in compliance with policy.
