Job summary

CECO Environmental, a global leader in sustainable industrial solutions, seeks an experienced Accounts Manager for North America. The role focuses on planning market entry and developing the Industrial Water and Wastewater business, while validating strategy and winning new opportunities.

The candidate will manage relationships with clients, agents, and distributors, and support project execution across EPC environments.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Mechanical/Chemical or equivalent.
• 8+ years’ experience selling Industrial Water and Wastewater Treatment Packages including Filtration, RO, Biological, and Demineralization technologies.
• Industry experience with Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Power Plants, and Chemical Facilities.
• Hands-on experience managing or supporting projects within an EPC environment.
• Proven results identifying business opportunities and a track record as a deal closer in highly technical sales markets.
• Significant motivation, goal orientation, diligence, and attention to detail.
• Excellent negotiation, communication and presentation skills.
• Team-oriented with strong communication skills.
• Ability and willingness to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Actively guides North American growth strategy for Industrial Water and Wastewater treatment solutions with US-based customers.
• Directs customer sales in line with business strategy, creating value propositions.
• Evaluates need for local agents/distributors for broader coverage.
• Directs the sales process including prospecting, qualifying, and positioning solutions with direct and indirect channels.
• Supports delivery of growth objectives for pipeline, bookings, and gross margin.
• Keeps updated on market and competitor trends to adjust growth strategy and margin-friendly offers.
• Leads new business generation and cross-selling to existing customers.
• Builds and maintains relationships with clients, agents and distributors.
• Handles inquiries and provides technical/business support, including terms of sale review.
