Regional Sales Manager – North America
Responsibilities
- Own and strengthen existing customer relationships and pipeline while actively driving new customer development and short-term bookings growth.
- Participate in guiding and improving North American growth strategy for Industrial Water and Wastewater treatment solutions, focusing on U.S.-based customers.
- Direct customer sales in alignment with business strategy, creating value propositions that meet customer needs.
- Evaluate the need for and qualify local agents and/or distributors for greater industry coverage.
- Direct the sales process, including prospecting, qualifying, positioning of Industrial Water and Wastewater Treatment Solutions, with both direct customer engagement and indirect sales channels.
- Ensure delivery of growth objectives for pipeline development, bookings, and gross margin.
- Continuously evaluate market and competitors; update sales, marketing, and growth strategies to focus on the best areas of opportunity and maintain a differentiated offering for high win rates with appropriate margins.
- Lead new business generation and cross‑sell to existing customers.
- Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with clients, agents, and distributors.
- Handle customer and prospect inquiries/leads, providing technical/business support as required, including recommendations on business decisions and initial review of conditions and terms of sale.
- Collaborate with technical and project teams across the global business platform as required.
- Perform other duties of a similar nature and level as assigned.
Qualifications
- BS degree in Mechanical, Chemical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of sales experience in Industrial Water and Wastewater Treatment Packages, including filtration, brackish and reverse osmosis, biological treatment, and demineralization technologies.
- Industry or application experience with Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Power Plants, and Chemical Facilities.
- Hands‑on experience managing or supporting projects within an EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) environment.
- Proven results in identifying business opportunities and a track record as a deal closer in highly technical sales markets.
- Significant personal motivation, goal orientation, diligence, and attention to detail.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Team‑oriented with strong communication skills.
Travel Requirements
Travel required – up to 50% of time.

Work Environment
Professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.

USD $140,000.00 – $180,000.00 per year.
