Servbank is seeking an experienced Accounting Team Lead to join our Finance and Accounting organization in Danville, IL. You will lead the team, ensure accurate journal entries, reconciliations, and timely financial reporting, while supporting audits and regulatory reporting.

The ideal candidate brings strong GAAP knowledge, leadership by example, and the ability to improve processes in a banking environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience; banking/financial services experience preferred.
• Experience with general ledger systems and financial reporting applications.

Responsabilités

• Lead by example to set standards for accuracy, timeliness, and quality of the team's work.
• Compile, analyze, and review financial information to prepare and record journal entries in the general ledger.
• Record, reconcile, and analyze daily cash and investment activities; identify variances and escalate as needed.
• Prepare and maintain account reconciliations; research and resolve outstanding items.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes; prepare journal entries and supporting documentation.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly accounting schedules and reports with high accuracy.
• Maintain and update departmental procedures; ensure alignment with internal controls.
• Assist audits by collecting, reviewing, and organizing audit documentation; respond to requests.
