Job summary

Servbank is seeking an Accounting Team Lead to lead the Finance and Accounting organization, ensuring quality and timeliness of the team’s work. The role emphasizes leadership by example, strong technical accounting skills, and professionalism within a growing bank.

The ideal candidate will guide journal entries, reconciliations, and month/ year-end close processes, while supporting internal and external audits and regulatory reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required.
• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience; banking/financial services preferred.
• Experience with general ledger and financial reporting applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example to maintain accuracy and timeliness of journal entries.
• Record, reconcile, and analyze daily cash and investment activities; identify variances.
• Support month-end and year-end close with schedules and documentation.
• Assist audits by collecting and organizing audit documentation and responding to requests.
• Prepare regulatory reports such as FR 2900, Call Report, and Y-9SP.
• Serve as a backup for Accounts Payable processing and expense coding.
