Job summary

Servbank is seeking an Accounting Team Lead to guide a growing finance group, overseeing journal entries, reconciliations, close processes, and financial reporting while upholding GAAP and internal controls.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance, at least 5 years of accounting experience in banking or financial services, strong analytical and communication skills, and proficiency in Excel and accounting software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, banking/financial services preferred.
• Experience with general ledger systems and financial reporting applications.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example to foster accountability, collaboration, and professionalism.
• Compile, analyze, and review financial information to prepare journal entries.
• Record, reconcile, and analyze cash and investments; identify variances.
• Prepare and maintain account reconciliations and close schedules.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes and reporting.
• Assist with audits and regulatory reporting.
• Provide backup for Accounts Payable and process vendor invoices.
