Job summary

Zlc- is seeking an Accounting Specialist to support day-to-day financial operations, including AP, AR, reconciliations, and GL support. This hands-on role suits detail-oriented professionals who want a long-term career in accounting operations.

You will process invoices, manage customer payments, perform bank and GL reconciliations, assist with month-end close, and maintain organized records. Strong communication and teamwork are essential in our collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in accounting, business or related field is required.
• Bachelor's degree is preferred but not required.
• 1-3 years of relevant accounting, bookkeeping or AR/AP experience.
• Strong data entry accuracy and reconciliations.

Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable transactions, including invoice review, coding, and payment processing.
• Manage accounts receivable activity, including invoicing, customer receipts, and follow-up.
• Perform bank, credit card, and general ledger reconciliations.
• Prepare and post routine journal entries under guidance from senior staff.
• Support month-end and year-end close by organizing records and resolving items.
• Maintain organized, accurate records of accounting transactions and supporting documentation.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and audit preparation.
• Communicate with vendors, customers, and internal staff to resolve account questions.
