The ZLC Group CPAs LLC seeks an Accounting Specialist to support day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger tasks. This hands-on role is well suited to detail-oriented individuals seeking a stable, long-term career in accounting operations.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in accounting, business, or related field.
• 1–3 years in accounting, bookkeeping, or AP/AR experience.
• Proficiency with QuickBooks and Excel; Thomson Reuters/UltraTax exposure a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and reconciliations.
• Good organizational and time-management skills with meeting deadlines.
• Clear written and verbal communication; ability to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable incl. invoice review, coding, and payments.
• Manage accounts receivable incl. invoicing, receipts, follow-up.
• Perform bank, credit card, and GL reconciliations.
• Prepare and post routine journal entries under guidance.
• Support month-end and year-end close by organizing records and resolving items.
• Maintain organized records of transactions and documentation.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and audit preparation.
• Communicate with vendors, customers, and internal staff to resolve questions.
