Job summary

NW Staffing Resources seeks an Accounting Specialist in Sacramento to support billing, AP/AR, reconciliations, and month-end tasks with a hands-on approach. You will help maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks Online, prepare journal entries, and assist with general ledger maintenance.

Collaborating with CPAs and supporting tax documentation, you’ll contribute to a stable Monday–Friday schedule and a predictable workday, with opportunities to grow within a committed accounting team.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with QuickBooks Online, including AP, AR, billing, collections, and reconciliations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word, along with experience preparing journal entries and working with the general ledger.
• Understanding of financial statements, including profit & loss and balance sheets, and month-end accounting processes.
• Experience working with CPAs and providing documentation for tax preparation.
• Familiarity with contracts, CSLB compliance, and corporate documentation is a plus.

Accounting Specialist | Hands-On Accounting Role with a Stable Schedule

SALARY: $30.00 – $32.00/hr.

SCHEDULE: Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM | Temp to Hire

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
