Job summary

Alaris Health is seeking an Accounting Specialist to join our finance team in New Jersey. You will manage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensure accurate financial records, and support reporting with strong attention to detail.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in AP/AR, proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel, and an Associate’s degree. You’ll collaborate across departments and help maintain confidential financial information.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in accounts payable and/or accounts receivable roles.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred

Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable transactions efficiently and accurately with high invoice volume.
• Verify invoices and reconcile discrepancies.
• Manage vendor payments including checks, ACH transfers, and credit card transactions.
• Communicate with vendors and resolve payment issues or concerns.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for all accounts payable transactions.
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements.
• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including journal entries, reconciliations, and account analyses.
• Reconcile accounts receivable transactions and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare and maintain receivable reports and assist with financial forecasting.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for all accounts receivables transactions.
• Collaborate with other departments to gather financial information and address issues.
• Provide general administrative support to the finance and HR departments.
• Assist with special projects and initiatives as assigned.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and exercise discretion.
