Job summary

BrainWorks is seeking an Accounting/AR Specialist to join a collaborative Finance team, with a focus on accounts receivable, invoicing, reconciliations, and stop-loss-related accounting activities.

Key duties include managing AR and invoicing, processing and reconciling payments, supporting stop-loss accounting, researching discrepancies, and maintaining accurate records while partnering with the Finance team and external contacts.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in AR, billing, invoicing, or general accounting.
• Strong reconciliation, research, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting systems.
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
• Comfortable working in a collaborative, team-oriented office environment.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field preferred.
• Experience in insurance, employee benefits, healthcare, or stop-loss is a plus, but not required.
