# Accounting SpecialistFairfield Memorial Hospital Association - FAIRFIELD, IL 62837## OverviewSalary Range$23.00 - $35.00 HourlyPosition TypeFull TimeJob ShiftDay Shift## Description**NATURE OF WORK**Fairfield Memorial Hospital is seeking a detail oriented and highly organized Accounting Specialist to join the Finance team. This unique position combines accounting, medical staff credentialing, payer enrollment, payroll backup, and regulatory compliance responsibilities. The Accounting Specialist plays a key role in supporting the organization's financial integrity, audit readiness, provider credentialing processes, and enrollment activities. This position is responsible for month end and year end accounting support, journal entries, bank reconciliations, audit preparation, provider credentialing, OPPE/FPPE reporting, payer enrollments, and payroll backup.
