Job summary

Amtrak is seeking a Vendor Master Data Lead to oversee vendor master data functions, payment runs, and collaboration with banking partners. You will manage vendor data in SAP, support accounts payable, and drive accuracy in financial reporting and payments.

You will lead a team, interact with multiple departments, and ensure compliance with financial requirements and timelines across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience.
• Experience with SAP ECC/S4HANA and SAP Ariba.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary point of contact for vendor inquiries and Ariba registration.
• Run and validate daily payment runs via SAP for ACH, checks, or wires.
• Collaborate with procurement, receiving, and vendors to resolve pricing/quantity discrepancies.
• Oversight of vendor master data maintenance in SAP.
• Support Accounts Payable and assist with annual audits and reporting.
