Job summary

Unrivaled Sports is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead accounting and financial reporting for the Field Sports and Action Sports divisions, serving a multi-entity, multi-location portfolio that supports hundreds of thousands of athletes annually. You’ll own the month-end close, do journal review, reconciliations, and consolidate results with the VP of Accounting.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent.
6–8 years of progressive accounting experience, including 2+ years supervising staff.
Experience owning a multi-entity month-end close and financial reporting.
Strong GAAP knowledge including ASC 606 and ASC 842; fixed assets handling.

Responsibilities

Own accounting and financial reporting for Field Sports and Action Sports divisions.
Supervise two Senior Accountants and mentor staff.
Oversee revenue recognition, deferred revenue, and deposits under GAAP (ASC 606).
Review monthly reconciliations and balance sheet roll-forwards.
Manage fixed assets, capital projects, and lease accounting (ASC 842).
Lead month-end close and prepare division-level financial reporting packages.
Present results to senior leadership and coordinate with operations for accurate flash reports.
