Cobalt Service Partners is seeking an Accounting Manager to own the day-to-day accounting operations for a single operating company, including the monthly close, internal and external reporting, controls, payroll oversight, and support of the annual audit. This is a hands‑on role partnering with the regional finance team on project-based revenue recognition and cash management.

As part of a PE-backed platform, the role focuses on close and reporting across multiple entities, with ERP experience

Qualifications

• 5–8 years progressive accounting experience with hands-on ownership of the monthly close.
• Strong command of GAAP, with fluency in reconciliations, accruals, and financial reporting.
• Experience running close and reporting across multiple entities, branches, or subsidiaries.
• Comfort in accounting systems with the ability to learn and work in new ones.
• Strong Excel and data-modeling skills, and the self-direction to bring structure to ambiguity.

Responsabilités

• Close & reporting: Run the monthly close, deliver a fast and accurate flash, and improve speed and accuracy of the process.
• Project accounting: Manage revenue recognition and job costing for projects, including inventory where applicable.
• Reporting & forecasting: Prepare the financial package and variance analysis, manage a 13-week cash flow forecast.
• Maintain and improve controls, budgets, and KPIs; ensure regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with ERP and systems implementations with the regional finance team.
• Lead and develop the accounting staff; ensure payroll, AR, and AP accuracy.
