Job summary

Cobalt Service Partners is building a leading commercial access and security integration business across North America. We hire Accounting Managers to run day-to-day accounting for operating companies, handling monthly close, reporting, controls, payroll oversight, and audits.

This hands-on role partners with the regional finance team and supports project-based revenue recognition and cash management. The role progresses through operating company finance teams; onboarding covers specific market

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of progressive accounting experience with hands-on monthly close.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP with reconciliations, accruals and reporting.
• Experience closing and reporting across multiple entities, branches, or subsidiaries.
• Proficiency with accounting systems (QuickBooks, Sage Intacct, ServiceTitan) and ability to learn new ones.
• Strong Excel and data-modeling skills; ability to bring structure to ambiguity.

Responsibilities

• Close & reporting: run monthly close and deliver accurate flash.
• Project accounting: manage revenue recognition and job costing for projects.
• Reporting & forecasting: prepare financial package and 13-week cash flow forecast.
• Maintain and improve controls, budgets, KPIs; ensure regulatory compliance.
• Support ERP implementations and integrations with regional finance team.
• Lead accounting staff: payroll, AR, AP where a team exists.
