Job summary

Cobalt Service Partners is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead day-to-day accounting for a single operating company across multiple locations. This hands-on role focuses on close, revenue recognition, job costing, and cash management in a fast-growing PE-backed platform.

You’ll work with ERP systems, manage a team where applicable, and partner with regional finance to ensure accurate reporting, controls, and audits. CPA preferred.

Qualifications

• Hands-on ownership of the monthly close and financial reporting.
• Experience with multiple entities, branches, or subsidiaries.
• Familiarity with project-based accounting and job costing.

Responsibilities

• Close & reporting: run monthly close and deliver accurate flash
• Project accounting: manage revenue recognition and job costing
• Reporting & forecasting: prepare financial package and 13-week cash flow
• Maintain and improve controls, budgets, and KPIs; ensure compliance
• Support ERP/system implementations and integrations with regional finance
• Lead and develop accounting staff where present; ensure payroll, AR, AP accuracy
