Microwave Products Group (MPG) is seeking an Accounting Manager in Ventura, CA. This role will lead the accounting team, oversee payables, receivables, fixed assets and GL functions, while ensuring accuracy, controls, and compliance with GAAP and SOX.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in accounting/finance with 2+ years in a leadership role and a CPA qualification preferred. Travel may be required; on-site work environment with comprehensive benefits and eligibility for a discretionary bonus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field. CPA or MBA preferred.
• 5+ years in a senior accounting/finance role, with 2+ years in a supervisory capacity.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls.

Responsabilités

• Supervise Accounts Payable team to ensure timely and accurate processing.
• Oversee month-end close, forecasting, and annual budgeting processes.
• Monitor tax filings and cash control reconciliations; approve weekly pay runs.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to develop KPIs and ensure SOX/compliance.
