Job summary

Dover Corporation's Microwave Products Group (MPG) in Ventura, CA seeks an Accounting Manager to oversee AP/AR, fixed assets, and GL while leading the accounting team. You will ensure internal controls, accuracy in financial reporting, and compliance with GAAP and SOX.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in accounting/finance, 5+ years in a similar function, strong analytical skills, and leadership ability. CPA preferred. Travel may be required, with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance; CPA preferred.
• Minimum 5 years in a senior accounting/finance role with supervisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and SOX regulations.
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).

Responsibilities

• Supervise Accounts Payable and ensure timely accuracy.
• Oversee month-end close processes and reporting.
• Lead budgeting and forecasting activities and related analyses.
• Monitor sales/use tax filings and compliance.
• Approve weekly pay runs and cash reconciliations; manage KPIs.
