Microwave Products Group (MPG) at Dover Corporation seeks an Accounting Manager to oversee Accounts Payable, Receivable, Fixed Assets and GL functions. You will lead the accounting team, enforce internal controls, and ensure GAAP compliance in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a strong background in GAAP, SOX, and ERP systems, with 5+ years in accounting and at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity. Onsite work in Ventura, CA, with a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; Master’s degree or CPA preferred.
• 5+ years in a senior accounting or finance role, with at least 2 years in a managerial position.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and accounting principles.
• Experience with financial software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Accounts Payable specialist to ensure timely and accurate responsibilities.
• Supervise month end closing process.
• Monthly forecasting and annual budgeting and related analysis.
• Monitor collection of sales/use tax and filings.
• Approve weekly pay runs and cash control reconciliations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and manage KPIs.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies and SOX requirements.
