Job summary

Dow-Key Microwave in Ventura, CA seeks an Accounting Manager to oversee AP/AR, fixed assets and general ledger while leading the accounting team to ensure accurate operations and strong internal controls.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s in accounting/finance with 5+ years in senior finance and at least 2 years in a managerial role, plus GAAP/SOX knowledge and ERP experience (SAP/Oracle).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; Master’s or CPA preferred.
• 5+ years in a senior accounting/finance role with at least 2 years in management.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting and SOX regulations.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Accounts Payable and ensure timely, accurate processing.
• Oversee month-end close, forecasting and annual budgeting.
• Monitor sales/use tax filings and compliance.
• Approve weekly pay runs and cash reconciliations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and manage KPIs.
