Job summary

Solve Industrial Motion Group is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead the integrity and timeliness of the general ledger, close processes, and internal controls across locations. The role requires hands-on accounting leadership, a CPA, and experience with inventory and cost accounting.

You will drive process improvements, mentor the accounting team, and contribute to mergers and acquisitions with post-close integration. Occasional travel up to 30% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field.
• Active CPA license required.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• 1+ years of people management experience.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and the ability to research, evaluate, document, and communicate accounting conclusions.
• Meaningful experience with inventory and cost accounting.
• Working knowledge of tax matters and experience supporting tax accounting activities.
• Ability and willingness to travel up to 30%.

Responsibilities

• Lead key aspects of monthly and year-end close, ensuring accurate and timely completion of journal entries, reconciliations, and related reporting.
• Own the company's general accounting processes and related policies under U.S. GAAP.
• Identify and implement process improvements, automation opportunities, and system enhancements.
• Lead and develop Accounting Team members with clear responsibilities and close deadlines.
• Play a key role in mergers and acquisitions, including purchase accounting and post-close integration.
• Support tax compliance and external audits, coordinating information with tax resources and auditors.
