Job summary

Solve Industrial Motion Group is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead the integrity and timeliness of the company’s general accounting and close processes. The role combines hands-on execution with strategic development of the Accounting Team, ensuring GAAP compliance across multiple locations.

You will drive process improvements, support tax and audits, and coordinate with acquired entities during integration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field.
• Active CPA license required.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• 1+ years of people management experience.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and ability to research, document, and communicate conclusions.
• Meaningful experience with inventory and cost accounting.
• Working knowledge of tax matters and supporting tax accounting activities.
• Willingness to travel up to 30%.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly and year-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, and reports.
• Review balance sheet reconciliations and high-risk areas.
• Own general accounting processes and policies, ensuring U.S. GAAP consistency.
• Identify and implement process improvements, automation, and system enhancements.
• Develop Accounting Team members with clear responsibilities and deadlines.
• Play a key role in mergers and acquisitions, including purchase accounting and post-close integration.
• Coordinate with acquired business and branch finance teams on policies and consolidation.
• Prepare and review ad hoc accounting analyses and research for complex transactions.
• Support tax compliance and related accounting activities; coordinate with external tax resources.
• Support external audits and ERP/consolidation initiatives.
