Job summary

Vogrinc Search Group is seeking an experienced accounting leader to supervise monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensure GAAP compliance, and maintain strong internal controls in a high-volume environment.

The role requires 7+ years of accounting experience with supervisory responsibilities, excellent communication, and the ability to drive process improvements across the finance team in Atlanta, GA. CPA or MBA are preferred qualifications.

Qualifications

• Requires strong GAAP knowledge and SOX compliance understanding.
• Experience supervising accounting teams in a high-volume environment.
• Proven ability to analyze complex financial data and communicate findings.
• Proficient in internal controls, risk assessment, and process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Supervise associates, including staffing, training, coaching, and performance management.
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting close processes.
• Perform and review complex account reconciliations and analyses.
• Direct activities of teams handling general ledger, vendor billing, cash reconciliation, fixed assets, and capex accounting.
• Provide strategic recommendations to improve processes and resource use.
• Lead teams through organizational change.
• Maintain integrity of the general ledger and internal controls.
• Perform financial analysis as required and prepare ad hoc reports.
• Coordinate schedules for internal/external audits and reviews.
• Prepare and review schedules for auditors and ensure compliance with policies.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
