Beacon Hill Staffing Group, LLC is seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee day-to-day operations, lead month-end close, and ensure GAAP-compliant financial reporting. This hands-on role partners with leadership to improve processes, manage GL activities, reconciliations, audits, and financial statement prep.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years progressive accounting experience, supervisory skills, and advanced Excel; CPA preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Prior supervisory or management experience.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.
• Experience with month-end close, reconciliations, and audits.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• CPA preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
• Oversee general ledger accounting, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
• Prepare and review financial statements and supporting schedules.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and support audit requests.
• Analyze financial data and provide insights to leadership.
• Develop and improve accounting processes and internal controls.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting staff.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, cash management, and other ad hoc projects.
