Job summary

Beacon Hill Staffing Group, LLC is seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accounting Consultant to support the financial operations of our organization. The ideal candidate is experienced in core accounting functions, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and able to take ownership of key processes with minimal oversight.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3–7+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and general accounting principles.
• Proficiency with accounting systems and advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis.
• Maintain the general ledger and ensure accurate, timely recording of financial transactions.
• Prepare and support financial reports, schedules, and documentation for management and internal use.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and other financial planning activities.
• Support accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash management, and expense reporting as needed.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.
• Support audits and other external reporting requirements as needed.
