Job summary

Beacon Hill seeks a Senior Accounting Consultant to provide expert accounting and financial guidance across diverse projects. You will lead month-end closes, ensure GAAP compliance, review complex journal entries, and collaborate with leadership on strategic initiatives.

You'll support ERP implementations, drive process improvements, mentor junior staff, and coordinate audit responses while delivering actionable recommendations to stakeholders in dynamic environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with senior-level responsibilities.
• CPA designation or CPA candidacy strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Leading month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
• Preparing and reviewing complex journal entries and reconciliations.
• Supporting financial statement preparation and GAAP compliance.
• Analyzing financial data for variances and key drivers.
• Assisting with ERP implementations and process improvements.
• Providing accounting support for mergers and acquisitions.
• Collaborating with leadership to drive operational efficiencies and controls.
• Supporting external audits and coordinating responses.
• Mentoring junior accounting staff and sharing best practices.
• Managing special projects with actionable stakeholder recommendations
