Job summary

High Country Search Group seeks an Accounting Manager to lead a team of accounting professionals and oversee month-end close, financial reporting, and internal controls for a growing organization with national and international presence.

Reporting to the Sr. Director of Accounting, you will mentor staff, coordinate with external auditors, and drive process improvements across the general ledger, compliance, and external reporting.

Qualifications

• Active CPA certification required.
• 4-6+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; public accounting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
• Prepare and review journal entries, financial statements, and schedules.
• Oversee general ledger accounting and ensure U.S. GAAP compliance.
• Identify and implement improvements to accounting processes and internal controls.
• Coordinate with external auditors and provide requested documentation.
• Support technical accounting research and external reporting activities.
• Assist with accounting system enhancements and implementations.
• Lead, develop, and mentor accounting staff.
• Support various accounting and analytical projects as needed.
