Blackbird Health is seeking an ambitious Accounting Manager to support our growing Finance team across multiple states. You will own day‑to‑day general ledger operations, lead month‑end closes, and drive accurate financial reporting in a fast‑paced pediatric‑care environment.

You will collaborate with Finance and cross‑functional leaders, support ERP implementations, and ensure audit readiness. A strong GAAP background and multi‑entity experience are essential to succeed in this high‑growth

Qualifications

• Progressive experience in general ledger accounting within a multi‑state startup environment.
• Bachelor's or Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Solid knowledge of US GAAP and multi‑entity consolidations.
• Experience with ERP implementations and audit readiness is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own day‑to‑day general ledger operations and month‑end close processes.
• Prepare journal entries, variances, accruals, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Manage accounts payable and supplier onboarding; oversee spend management tools.
• Support ERP implementation projects and provide audit‑ready workpapers and schedules.
