Blackbird Health is seeking an ambitious Accounting Manager to support our Finance team. You’ll own day-to-day general ledger operations, prepare journal entries, manage multi-entity consolidations, and drive system implementations in a fast-paced, multi-state startup.

Reporting to the Director of Accounting, you’ll partner with Finance and cross-functional leaders to improve processes, ensure audit readiness, and scale our accounting architecture as we grow into new markets.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of progressive GL accounting or financial operations in a high-growth startup.
• Associate's or Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance; CPA is a strong plus.
• Solid technical knowledge of US GAAP, multi-entity consolidations, and complex journal entries.
• Hands-on experience with modern cloud accounting systems (NetSuite, QuickBooks).

Responsabilités

• Own end-to-end month-end close, journal entries, intercompany eliminations and reconciliations.
• Drive variance (flux) analysis with FP&A for leadership insights.
• Oversee full-cycle Accounts Payable and vendor onboarding.
• Support ERP system implementation and audit readiness.
