Blackbird Health is seeking an ambitious Accounting Manager to support our growing Finance team. You will own day‑to‑day general ledger operations, drive month‑end close, multi‑entity consolidations, and balance sheet reconciliations in a fast‑paced, multi‑state startup.

You’ll partner with Finance and cross‑functional leaders to implement an ERP system, ensure audit readiness, and build scalable accounting processes while maintaining high standards of accuracy and integrity.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of progressive experience in general ledger accounting or financial operations.
• Solid knowledge of US GAAP and multi-entity consolidation.
• Experience with ERP implementations and external audits.
• Strong cross-functional communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day general ledger operations and month-end close.
• Manage multi-entity consolidations, intercompany eliminations, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Lead accounts payable and cash disbursement processes.
• Support ERP implementation and audit readiness.
• Partner with Finance and cross-functional leaders to scale systems.
