Blackbird Health is seeking an ambitious Accounting Manager to support a growing Finance team. You will own day-to-day general ledger operations, including journal entries, consolidations, and balance sheet reconciliations, while partnering with cross-functional leaders to drive scalable processes.

You’ll play a key role in ERP implementation, audit readiness, and improving financial controls in a fast-paced, multi-state startup environment.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of progressive general ledger accounting or financial operations experience in a high-growth, multi-state startup.
• Solid US GAAP knowledge and multi-entity consolidation experience.
• Hands-on with cloud accounting systems (NetSuite, QuickBooks) and spend platforms (Ramp, Bill Direct).

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end general ledger operations, journal entries, accruals, consolidations, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Lead month-end close and flux analysis to provide insights for leadership and FP&A.
• Oversee Accounts Payable, vendor onboarding, invoicing, and payments.
• Support ERP implementation projects and audit readiness activities.
• Collaborate with Finance and People teams across multiple states.
