Leeds Professional Resources in Florida is seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee the company’s accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring accurate processing, timely payments, and strong cash flow management.

You will lead the AP/AR team, establish procedures, monitor balances, and ensure compliance with internal controls, vendor relations, and collections. 5+ years of accounting experience with supervisory responsibility is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of accounting experience with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role.
• Strong knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general accounting principles.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the full accounts payable cycle, including invoice processing, coding, approvals, and payment processing.
• Oversee customer invoicing, cash applications, account reconciliations, and collections.
• Develop and implement collection strategies to minimize past-due accounts and reduce days sales outstanding (DSO).
• Resolve billing discrepancies and payment issues in coordination with internal departments.
• Ensure timely and accurate application of customer payments and deposits; maintain strong cash flow.
