Job summary

MOHR Talent is partnering with a growing aesthetic healthcare organization in Miami to recruit an experienced Accounting Manager. You will own the books, drive monthly closes, manage payroll and provider payments, and partner with executives to build a scalable accounting function.

Ideal candidates bring 7+ years of accounting progression, 3+ years leading teams, and CPA credentials, with a background in aesthetic medicine or related healthcare practices preferred.

Qualifications

• 7+ years progressive accounting experience.
• 3+ years managing accounting functions, processes, or teams.
• CPA or comparable professional accounting certification required; active CPA preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Experience in aesthetic medicine, medical spas, cosmetic dermatology, wellness clinics, or related healthcare practices strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting operations, including general ledger, AP, AR, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Own month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close.
• Reconcile patient payments, treatment deposits, refunds, financing transactions, and collections.
• Manage payroll, employee compensation, commissions, and provider payments.
• Prepare financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and cash flow reporting.
• Analyze profitability across treatments, services, providers, and locations.
• Develop accounting processes, SOPs, and internal controls.
• Coordinate with external CPAs, tax professionals, and auditors.
• Improve accounting systems, payment processing, and practice management integrations.
• Work directly with executive leadership on financial performance and growth.

This is a great opportunity for someone with accounting experience in aesthetic medicine, medical spas, cosmetic dermatology, wellness clinics, or specialty healthcare practices who understands patient payments, provider compensation, payroll, financial reporting, and practice profitability.

The right person enjoys being hands-on, can own the books, improve processes, establish financial controls, and work directly with executive leadership while helping build an accounting department for the future.

What You'll Be Doing

• Manage daily accounting operations, including general ledger, AP, AR, reconciliations, and financial reporting

What They're Looking For

• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience
• 3+ years managing accounting functions, processes, or teams
• Accounting background in aesthetic medicine, medical spas, cosmetic dermatology, wellness clinics, or related healthcare practices strongly preferred
• Experience with patient collections, treatment payments, refunds, financing, payroll, and provider compensation
• Hands-on experience with financial statements, general ledger, reconciliations, month-end close, and payroll
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow
• CPA or comparable professional accounting certification required; active CPA preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and comfortable building processes independently
