MOHR Talent is partnering with a growing aesthetic healthcare organization in Miami, seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to own the books, improve processes, and establish internal controls. You will work directly with executive leadership and help build an accounting department for the future.

The role requires 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, 3+ years of managing accounting functions, and CPA certification.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• 3+ years managing accounting functions or teams.
• Accounting background in aesthetic medicine or related healthcare required.
• Experience with patient payments, financing, payroll and provider compensation.
• CPA or comparable certification required; active CPA preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• Strong US GAAP, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting operations, including general ledger, AP, AR, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Own month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close.
• Reconcile patient payments, treatment deposits, refunds, financing transactions, and collections.
• Manage payroll, employee compensation, commissions, and provider payments.
• Prepare financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and cash flow reporting.
• Analyze profitability across treatments, services, providers, and locations.
• Develop accounting processes, SOPs, and internal controls.
• Coordinate with external CPAs, tax professionals, and auditors.
• Improve accounting systems, payment processing, and practice management integrations.
• Work directly with executive leadership on financial performance and growth.
• Help build and eventually lead a growing accounting department.
