Ideal candidate has 5–7 years of progressive accounting experience, deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP, and proficiency with Excel and ERPs. Location: New York area; salary range $90k–$110k with excellent benefits.

Qualifications

  • 5-7 years of progressive accounting experience.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting, account reconciliations, auditing, and U.S. GAAP.
  • Experience managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with multi-entity accounting and consolidations.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software/ERP systems.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound professional judgment.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with HR and other departments on payroll, benefits, and financial reconciliations as needed.
  • Identify process improvements and strengthen accounting procedures and controls.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and support to accounting staff.

Job description

We are seeking for an experienced Accounting Manager to join our Accounting Department. This position will play a key role in managing financial reporting, month-end and year-end close processes, audit support, general ledger accounting, compliance, and multi-entity accounting operations.
