Job summary

3 Bridge Networks in San Francisco seeks an Accounting Manager to own the close process and drive scalable accounting practices as the company grows. You will partner with leadership to ensure accurate financial reporting and strong internal controls.

You will lead monthly/quarterly closes, manage GL, AP, AR, fixed assets, payroll-related accounting, and intercompany activity, and mentor the accounting staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA preferred, but not required.
• 5+ years accounting experience, including month-end close ownership.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting.
• Experience in high-growth, multi-entity, or fast-paced environments.
• Strong Excel and ERP systems experience.
• Detail-oriented with organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close process.
• Review journals, reconciliations, accruals, and supporting schedules.
• Prepare and review financial statements, management reports, and variance analyses.
• Oversee general ledger activity and internal controls.
• Manage accounts payable/receivable, fixed assets, prepaid expenses, payroll accounting, and intercompany activity.
• Partner with cross-functional leaders on budgeting, forecasting, cash flow planning.
• Support annual audit, tax compliance, and external reporting.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and automate workflows.
• Mentor accounting staff as the team grows.
• Support special projects and operational initiatives.

About the Role

The Accounting Manager will oversee core accounting operations, ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, and help build scalable processes as the company continues to grow.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close process.
• Review journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, and supporting schedules to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Prepare and review financial statements, management reporting packages, and variance analyses.
• Oversee general ledger activity and maintain strong accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Manage key areas of day-to-day accounting, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, prepaid expenses, payroll‑related accounting, and intercompany activity, as applicable.
• Partner with cross-functional leaders to support budgeting, forecasting, cash flow planning, and business decision-making.
• Support the annual audit, tax compliance, and other external reporting requirements.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, strengthen controls, and automate manual accounting workflows.
• Help develop, mentor, and review the work of accounting staff as the team grows.
• Support special projects and operational initiatives as needed.
