Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.
• Experience leading month-end close processes.
• Excellent reconciliation and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments.
• Proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks experience is a plus).
• Experience working with multiple entities is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the daily accounting operations for the organization.
• Manage the monthly financial close process and improve close timelines.
• Review and prepare accurate financial statements.
• Perform account reconciliations and maintain the general ledger.
• Ensure financial transactions are properly coded and recorded across multiple systems.
• Oversee banking activity and reconciliations for multiple related entities.
• Maintain internal controls and accounting best practices.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and efficiencies.
• Partner closely with executive leadership on financial reporting and special projects.
