Position Summary

The Accounting Manager will play a key role in overseeing the monthly close process, maintaining accurate financial reporting, and partnering with leadership on budgeting and forecasting activities. This is a highly visible position that works closely with Finance, FP&A, and Operations leadership to provide meaningful financial insights that support strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements.
  • Partner closely with the FP&A team on annual budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Analyze financial results and provide insights to leadership regarding trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Support operational leaders by providing financial data and business analysis to improve performance and profitability.
  • Assist in developing and improving accounting processes, procedures, and internal controls.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and support annual audit activities.
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies.
  • Participate in system enhancements, process improvements, and special projects as the company grows.
  • Mentor and develop accounting staff and contribute to building a scalable finance organization.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
  • CPA or CPA candidate preferred, but not required.
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably within manufacturing.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and month-end close processes.
  • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and work cross-functionally with leaders across the organization.
