Job summary

Growing Seasons Landscaping seeks an Accounting Clerk to join its finance team. You will handle daily vendor bill entries, invoicing customers, payroll support, and month-end tasks across multiple entities in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires detail orientation, strong communication, and the ability to work both independently and with others, using QuickBooks and Excel to keep precise records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in accounting or related field preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in accounts payable/receivable, bookkeeping, or general accounting.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Enter vendor bills daily in QuickBooks/Sage IntAcct and ensure timely processing of high-priority bills.
• Manage account payable entries across twelve sets of QuickBooks/Sage IntAcct accounts.
• Review vendor statements, research missing bills, and verify proper application of credits and payments.
• Prepare and mail vendor payments weekly.
• Coordinate with internal departments to resolve billing discrepancies, obtain necessary approvals and ensure timely invoicing.
