Job summary

Focus Employer Solutions is seeking an Account Payable/Receivables Specialist to manage day-to-day AP/AR and bookkeeping for a multi-entity organization using the Intuit Enterprise Suite. The role supports the monthly and year-end close under the Accounting Manager and ensures accurate documentation and internal controls.

Key duties include processing invoices, reconciling bank and credit card accounts, and communicating billing discrepancies.

Qualifications

• Experience processing accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Experience reconciling bank and credit card accounts
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles
• Proficiency with QuickBooks or similar multi-entity accounting software
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

• Maintain vendor records and supporting documentation per procedures
• Process AP invoices after proper approvals and code to correct entity
• Prepare payment batches for review and approval
• Manage accounts receivable and follow up on past-due balances
• Prepare and distribute customer invoices according to schedule
• Apply customer payments accurately in the accounting system
• Prepare bank and credit card reconciliations and assist month-end close
