CP Build, a fast-growing interior finishes contractor in Utah, seeks an Accounting Clerk to support AP and AR functions. This role offers hands-on accounting exposure in a growing company and a collaborative team environment.

You will handle vendor invoices, customer billing, and daily bookkeeping tasks while ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of cross-functional accounting experience or related education.
• Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Organized and dependable with ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Experience with job cost accounting preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices and three-way match per policy.
• Maintain accounts payable and perform full-cycle AP tasks.
• Prepare and issue customer invoices; reconcile AR ledger; handle lien waivers.
• Assist with bank deposits and daily accounting tasks.
• Produce reports and support weekly AR meetings; resolve discrepancies.
